Hi, my name is Alistair and I am a 36 year old photographer based in Cheltenham.
I started out photographing motorsport and sport many years ago, it started as an interest and then my images began to get published. First locally, then nationally and now internationally. It was at this point in 2004 that ExposureCompensation was created. The aim was, and still is, to showcase my photographic portfolio and the services I offer.

My Equipment
At the beginning of 2009 I changed from 'the other brand' to using Nikon equipment. The performance of the D3/x in all light conditions is very very impressive as is the ability to shoot a fast sequence of images where every image in the burst is in perfect focus.
My gear has a hard life and given the British climate I am often shooting in poor light and rain, so the robust design and weather sealing features are critical to ensuring I can focus on capturing quality images and not have to worry about my equipment.
